The OEM companies producing vehicles, brake systems and clutches represent an important field of Fras-le´s business. The relationship between Fras-le and the automotive companies has been consolidated over the decades as the result of a serious work carried out simultaneously with the development of its new products. Fras-le´s friction materials are non-asbestos products that are original in 100% of the Brazilian OEM companies of heavy and semi-heavy vehicles and that meet the legal and specific requirements of the applications and markets for which they are designed.

New models of brake pads, linings and clutch facings are developed by the Company strictly in accordance with the product’s design through the Engineering Departments of Fras-le and the OEM companies, that have a perfect working relationship with each other. The consumer can rest assured that Fras-le´s products are original equipment and the most highly recommended parts when replacements are needed.

Fras-le is the Brazilian leader in the aftermarket and makes available to consumers products with the quality of the original equipment. A structured sales and after-sales team throughout Brazil controls the commercialization of products through a net of distributors that is responsible for the assistance to more than 200 thousand points of sale of spare parts ( service stations, shops, fleet companies, autocenters and distributors).

For over 30 years, Fras-le has been taking its products to the demanding international market, which accounts for 50.5% of the Brazilian exports in friction materials. More than 80 countries on the five continents can attest the quality of Fras-le products. The exports represent currently around 50% of the total sales of Fras-le.
